I have been practicing traditional acupuncture and shiatsu in Oxford for over 15 years and am particularly interested in treating women at all stages of their life, especially during pregnancy and labour. Over the last few years, I have been using a blend of acupuncture and shiatsu as a routine prebirth treatment from week 37 to the due date and found it very helpful for symptom management and general relaxation in the late stages of pregnancy. Birth partners often come along to the last treatment before the due date to get some tips and instructions for massage and acupressure during labour.

To help couples get ready for childbirth, I have been have been teaching birth preparation workshops with Kay Millar, an Oxford based pregnancy yoga and active birth teacher. For more information about upcoming workshops go to www.activebirth-oxford.co.uk.

Please contact me for an informal chat on acupuncture and shiatsu for fertility, pregnancy and labour either by phone or by email. Besides English, I fluently speak French and German.
